Wedding Guest Dresses

Weddings are a wonderful celebration of love and life. For most of us, the time we spend and the people we have met at weddings have provided some of the most memorable occasions. As a wedding guest, you want to look amazing, (but not quite as amazing as the bride). Our range of luxury wedding guest dresses come in a huge range of styles, colours, and prints, shapes, cuts, and fabrics. From simple sundresses, through to ultra-chic formal gowns, our selection of luxury garments for rent is second to none.

How the choose the right dress as a wedding guest.

Weddings are all different, so choosing the right outfit will be highly dependent on your style, the location and the time of the year that the wedding is being held. There are some timeless options that always go down well, but if you are looking for something a little different that has the wow factor, then renting a piece from our wedding guest dress collections could be the right way to go.

Whether formal or informal, we have stocked some amazing pieces from local Australian designers and international designers that means you will never have to wear the same dress twice. In Australia, Spring and early Summer is wedding season, and if you are anything like us at Designer Night, this means you may attend a number of weddings and events in a short period of time.

Let’s make no mistake, looking good for a wedding can get expensive, especially when you consider the full costs of putting an outfit together. The shoes, the accessories, hair and make-up… it all adds up.

Designer Nights can help lower your costs by providing you with affordable dress rentals, at a fraction of the cost of buying retail. So, for your next slew of weddings why not try renting instead of buying? You can get access to amazing designer pieces that you might not otherwise be able to afford, especially when you consider the cost of dressing for many weddings in a short period of time.

Our Advice on Wedding-Guest Dresses

It is always a good idea to find out from the bride what colour the bridesmaid’s dresses are going to be. Once you know, it is best to avoid that colour entirely, as you want to make sure that the bride and their bridal party are the focus for the event.

You also want to avoid anything white or even remotely close to white, assuming that the bride has chosen to wear white. Very light pastels and silvers should be avoided. The lighting in function rooms can impact what a colour looks like, especially from a distance. Don’t risk it! Stick to darker tones, brighter colours or patterns to ensure there is no chance that you will be mistaken for either the bride or a bridesmaid!
